M14 Hoops in Naperville, IL are *** Artists that steal from hard working single parents during tax season!!!!
Preferred solution: All children given the opportunity as you give towards your favorite players with the "Select" team. If they cannot withstand the training them place them in a lower level group,, but to automatically EXCLUDE children is to discriminate!!!!!

Did homework... every parent wants to see kids be at top, I understand that-- problem is life isn't that way.
If your kid isn't "select" can't really have them train in same way-but they are getting training to advance their skills at their level. They work out. on own and love game they will improve , doesn't mean they will be D1- god given athleticism and height separates most in basketball. If your child doesn't have it for basketball find what it is and let them grow into it-- quit blaming everyone for everything have them try working harder very easy place blame somewhere else .

If he was on this team, I can vouch for him because I know Dearman personally. I also believe this team may have made a tourney run.
My son started dribble training with matt in the 5th grade. Now he's a soph playing varsity and proud to say known to be 1 of the best ball handlers and players in the western suburbs.
Started low in skill and soon progressed to the top Academy class. Sweat,blood,tears.... The teaching is correct but how much work do you put in with yours?
Maybe your kid just ain't got it... I recommend m14 to all young SERIOUS ballers trust me results will follow!
I'm glad I found this posting too!
There is favoritism within the organization. Not everyone is happy....This organization promotes individuals within the M14 Select group as long as you are his frat brother when that child actually does not belong in that group so what does really say for the rest of the kids who are busting their butts to get there....WE REALLY DON'T MATTER!!!!! As long as you have a inside connection you don't have to put in the work that everyone else does because you get a free pass.
Sounds like typical parents who can't accept that their child is not among the top tier of talent. My child came through M14 years ago.
The training is top notch. I attended a tournament a few weeks ago to watch the youngsters play. I noticed several players who where clearly amongst the most talented in the gym.
When I inquired, they were ALL M14 trained. Get over it...stop whining and reset your expectations.
He charges the same price for each program, but he cheats the other kids by not allowing them to get the same training as his personally chosen "SELECT" kids....why charge the kids that are not as advanced as his "Select" kids the same price......THAT IS NOT FAIR BY ANY MEANS....your right...it's all just a rip off!
My child was with M14 hoops several years before she went to college and I would have to disagree with your disgruntled comments. Matt and his staff have always been top notch when it comes to professionalism and they always explain their training process before you sign up- so I'm not sure about the confusion on pricing and programs.
They evaluate your child based upon skill level. It is not fair for an advance kid to be placed with kids that are still struggling on dribbling and shooting techniques and vice versa, it is not fair for my child to not get the proper attention to detail because she was in a class that was far more advanced than she was. If you think about what is BEST for your child and every other paying child in the class- it should make better sense. I think these are parents with unrealistic views of their child's talent- not everyone can be a star player or division 1 athlete people!
My daughter never went D1 but her skills were far superior having trained with M14 Hoops.
This posting and website is lame and I feel guilty I am stooping so low as to respond.
